We are looking to recruit a Patient Assistant. The post holder will join our friendly Administration/Reception Team to work at Westminster Surgery and support our other two GP practices, Old Hall Surgery & Willaston Surgery.
This role is a permanent part time role of 16.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job:Duties will include working on reception, clerical and administration duties and supporting GPs, Clinicians and Service Users within our surgery.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.
We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Stockport.

Person specification:- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent/or relevant administration experience
- Knowledge and Expertise: Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office; Knowledge and understanding Data Protection Act
- Experience: Typing experience; Experience of dealing with the public on the telephone and face to face
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
