- AGE: 79
- MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Arthritis, COPD, Diabetes, Mild cognitive impairment, and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy – a rare form of Parkinson's)
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The client's PSP affects his vocal volume, so the carer should be attentive to his communication needs. The client is supported by his wife, who prepares meals and administers medications.
Work environment:
The client lives in a ground floor apartment with a newly fitted accessible disabled bathroom. The home is smoke-free and pet-free, and is fully wheelchair accessible.
Requirements:
- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Care Certificate
- LANGUAGES: Fluency in English and Punjabi (both required)
Working pattern:
7 hours per week, working 7-8am Monday to Sunday. This may be increased for the right candidate.
