This is an exciting role - part hands-on, part management - where you'll support adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex care needs and mental health challenges in a community setting. You'll play a key role in shaping services that are person-centred, empowering and full of heart.
- Working on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex health needs, and mental health conditions
- Supervising, mentoring and motivating a team of Support Workers
- Leading service delivery to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance
- Supporting with rota planning, staff development, care planning, reviews, and risk assessments
- Participating in the on-call rota as part of the management team
- Contributing to the growth and development of our services in your local area

Essential Criteria
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - and willingness to work towards Level 5 if not already held
- Direct experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and/or mental health challenges
- Previous experience in a leadership role, such as Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager
- Strong understanding of community-based support
- Ability to lead and manage a team, handle complex situations and drive positive outcomes
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- A flexible and hands-on approach - this is role is split between our Standish site and your community location
- Ability to participate in the on-call rota
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable
- NVQ Level 4 or 5 (or equivalent leadership and management qualification)

- Competitive pay: Up to £34,500 plus additional on call payment of circa £2,000 per annum. Potential earnings of up to £37,000.
