If the answer to these questions is 'yes', then a role with My Life Legacy could be for you!, This role will be as a Support Worker / Personal Assistant for a young lady with a beautiful smile and a love of animals.
She loves horses and going out into nature.
She is a wheelchair user, she has epilepsy and she communicates with verbal gestures and facial expressions.
She lives in her own home supported by an established team who currently provide care for her on a 2:1 basis during the day and 1:1 during the night.
As an integral part of this friendly team, you will work through the night to ensure that personal care is provided in a respectful manner, that this lady's support requirements are delivered in accordance with her healthcare plan and that her health, independence and wellbeing are prioritised.
You will be an experienced Support Worker / Personal Assistant with a positive and proactive approach to care.
You will be a self-motivated, team player who has the ability to use initiative whilst being sensitive to the needs of others.
You will also hold a full driving licence.
My Life is a highly respected charity and we are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker / Personal Assistant to join a team of Community based staff in Hindley to work on Waking Nights.
My Life was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives.
My Life currently provides care and support to a growing number of individuals who have complex health and social care needs across the Northwest of England.
Our staff are integral to the success of the charity as they are the ones making a real difference to people's lives.
