The Role
Are you a law graduate struggling to break into the legal sector because every "entry-level" role requires two years of experience? My Law Skills is changing how legal careers start. We don’t just teach law; we teach the business of law. We are looking for a cohort of motivated graduates to join our intensive 8-week training program starting in March. This isn’t a classroom course. It is a high-intensity, practical "sandbox" where you will learn to manage residential property files from start to finish. Upon successful completion, you will be placed directly into one of our partner law firms in London--ready to be a productive team member from Day 1.
What You’ll Learn (The "Day-1 Productive" Curriculum)
- Case Management Systems (CMS): Full proficiency in the digital tools used by top firms.
- The Conveyancing Lifecycle: Mastering the process from instruction to post-completion.
- Practical Drafting: Preparing contracts, ordering searches, and handling SDLT returns.
- Client Communication: Professional standards for managing estate agents and lenders.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: A Law degree (LLB or GDL) is a requirement of our partner law firms. If you do not have legal education options can be discussed.
- Right to work: Our law firms do not offer sponsorship as standard, this would have to be discussed on a case by case basis.
- The Mindset: You are tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and tired of theoretical learning. You want to work.
- Commitment: You are available for an 8-week intensive training period starting in March.
- Location: Our partner firms for this course are in and around London, so they would expect you to be London based.
Why Join Us?
- Skip the "Coffee Run" Phase: Most juniors spend months doing admin. Our graduates are trusted with real tasks immediately because they have the skills to back it up.
- Guaranteed Job Placement: We work with a select list of reputable London law firms looking for the next generation of conveyancing talent.
- Mentorship: You will be trained by a founder with 10 years of experience in growing and managing high-performing conveyancing teams.
