My Key Recruitment is working with an established and growing business in Watford to recruit an experienced Systems Integration Lead to take ownership of its business-critical system integrations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, hands-on integration specialist who has proven experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite and MuleSoft and enjoys improving the way systems communicate across a business.
We're not looking for someone who simply uses Salesforce or manages CRM administration. We need someone who understands the technical side of integrating Salesforce with other business platforms and has experience designing, developing, troubleshooting and maintaining those integrations.
You’ll take ownership of an existing integration environment, working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to improve data accuracy, automate processes and ensure information moves seamlessly between systems.
The Role
As Systems Integration Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite and Shopify using an existing MuleSoft environment. This is a hands-on position where you’ll combine technical development, problem-solving and solution design with ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of existing integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite and Shopify, ensuring reliability, accuracy and performance.
- Design, build, maintain and troubleshoot integrations using MuleSoft, including MuleSoft Composer.
- Review existing system integrations, identify issues and implement improvements to data flows and automation.
- Work extensively with Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, APIs and automation to ensure seamless integration with other business platforms.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP, including customer records, sales orders and fulfilment information.
- Use REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and other integration technologies to connect systems and automate business processes.
- Investigate integration errors, resolve technical issues and introduce monitoring and recovery processes.
- Manage data mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation between platforms.
- Support system testing, technical documentation and controlled deployment of new integrations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual administration and improve the accuracy and accessibility of business information.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and support future system improvements and integration projects.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has already worked in a technically focused Salesforce integration role and can confidently manage integrations between multiple business systems.
Essential Experience
- Proven, hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite in a live business environment.
- Strong practical experience using MuleSoft, including building, maintaining and troubleshooting integrations.
- Good technical knowledge of Salesforce, including objects, relationships, external IDs, automation and APIs.
- Experience working with NetSuite ERP and understanding customer, order and fulfilment data.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, data mapping and system integration principles.
- Experience identifying and resolving integration failures, data discrepancies and synchronisation issues.
- Ability to design and implement integration solutions rather than simply administering existing systems.
- Confidence working independently, managing technical priorities and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Shopify integration experience.
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or DataWeave.
- NetSuite SuiteTalk or SuiteScript.
- Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications.
- Experience taking ownership of an existing integration environment.
- Previous experience integrating CRM, ERP and ecommerce platforms.
What We’re Looking For
You may currently be working as a:
- Salesforce Integration Developer
- Systems Integration Engineer

- Systems Integration Lead
Whatever your current job title, the most important thing is that you have genuine, hands-on experience connecting Salesforce and NetSuite through MuleSoft, and can take technical ownership of an integration environment.
Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to join an established organisation where your technical expertise will have a direct impact on how the business operates. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of key integrations, improve existing processes and contribute to future system development projects.
