My Key Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator on behalf of one of our valued clients based in Solihull on a 12 Month fixed term basis to cover maternity.
They are paying an attractive salary between £27,000 and £30,000.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse administration, stock control or goods in/goods out experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.
You'll play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, coordinating stock movements and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.
The Role
As a Warehouse Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative support across the warehouse operation, helping to ensure products, stock and customer orders are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining stock levels and coordinating internal product orders.
- Raising purchase orders and processing supplier orders using internal systems.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding stock, packaging, consumables and warehouse requirements.
- Supporting the sales team with product and commercial order requests.
- Processing customer orders for display stands and sample boards.
- Receiving and booking stock into the warehouse system.
- Coordinating customer deliveries and arranging transport.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory administration.
- Providing administrative support for temporary agency workers, including timesheet processing.
- Working closely with colleagues across warehouse, sales, HR and operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day running.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with additional administrative duties as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- You’ll ideally have
- Previous experience within a Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Administrator or Goods In/Goods Out Administration role.
- Experience of stock control or inventory administration.
- Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office and internal business systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across different departments.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy environment.
- A positive, flexible and team‑focused attitude.
