My Key Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Independent Financial Advisor on behalf of a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm based in Birmingham. This opportunity offers the chance to work with high-net-worth clients, delivering holistic financial advice while being supported by a strong paraplanning and administrative team. The role is designed to allow advisers to focus on building meaningful client relationships and delivering high-quality advice, without the usual operational distractions. The Role:

As an Independent Financial Advisor, you will provide holistic financial planning advice to clients while managing and developing long-term relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering whole-of-market financial advice tailored to client goals
  • Managing and developing long-term client relationships
  • Conducting reviews across pensions, investments, protection, retirement and estate planning
  • Working closely with paraplanners and administrators to deliver an excellent client experience
  • Ensuring all advice and documentation meets FCA regulatory standards
  • Identifying opportunities to grow assets under management where appropriate

About You:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • CAS status, or be close to achieving it
  • Previous experience in a regulated financial advice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
  • A proven ability to deliver compliant, client-focused financial advice
  • Ideally able to demonstrate an existing client portfolio generating £250k recurring revenue
