Locum Ready is looking for a General Practice Nurse to support regional primary care services throughout Earls Court . This position offers flexible sessional work within established GP clinics, ideal for nurses experienced in delivering routine treatment room activity and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.
You will assist local primary care teams with general nursing responsibilities, clinical reviews and patient-facing procedures in structured, well-organised environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing routine nursing support across GP clinic settings
- Conducting wound care, dressings and treatment room duties
- Administering routine immunisations and vaccinations (if trained)
- Completing smear tests if cytology-trained
- Supporting chronic disease management and care plan activity
- Undertaking NHS Health Checks where required
- Documenting clinical information accurately in digital systems
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with relevant primary care experience
- Strong treatment room competency
- Good communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to adapt to new practice environments quickly
- Knowledge of common clinical systems beneficial
- Enhanced DBS clearance
