Locum Ready is looking for a Locum ACP to work for a GP practice in Hatfield. This role offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions suited to an autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner who thrives in a primary care setting with clear workflows and steady patient demand.
Working alongside GPs, Nurses, and wider clinical staff, you will provide comprehensive assessments, deliver safe clinical decisions, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes. This position is ideal for ACPs who enjoy a mix of urgent care, routine appointments, and clinical triage.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
- Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
- Prescribing independently where qualified
- Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
- Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
Requirements
- Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7
- Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable
- Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings
- Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in clinic
- Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training
