My Implant Dentist is hiring an experienced, implant-focused General Dental Practitioner to join our team in Australia. We are specifically welcoming applications from UK GDPs ready to make the move β we do this often, we do it well, and we will support you through every step. This is a clinical role, not an administrative one. You will be placing and restoring implants from week one alongside senior implant clinicians, with a clear case mix, structured mentorship, and the time to do good dentistry.
Who we are looking for:
- 3β8 years post-qualification (BDS or equivalent).
- Demonstrable implant experience β ideally a Diploma in Implant Dentistry, or 50+ implants placed and/or restored.
- Comfortable presenting full treatment plans to patients and managing the surgical and restorative phases.
- Eligible for direct AHPRA registration as a UK-qualified dentist (GDC-registered, no ADC exams in most cases), or already AHPRA-registered.
- UK passport holders welcome β we sponsor 482, 186 and (where applicable) 494 visas.
- Australian or New Zealand citizens currently in the UK and considering home β even more welcome.
What you'll do:
- Run a full clinical book with a strong implant case mix β single units through full-arch.
- Work alongside senior implant clinicians who can mentor on case complexity, planning and execution.
- Use modern digital workflow β CBCT, intra-oral scanning, guided surgery as appropriate.
- Take part in a supportive team culture: case reviews, monthly CPD, and a real lunch break.
- Build long-term relationships with patients, not 10-minute UDA cycles.
What you get:
- Competitive AUD package, structured around a strong commission split on private and implant work. Indicative range provided on application; we are transparent about numbers early in the process.
- Sign-on consideration for the right candidate.
- Relocation support: Visa sponsorship and migration agent fees covered. Direct AHPRA registration pathway for most UK BDS holders β no ADC written or practical exams in most cases. We help you with the documentation.
- Named admin point of contact who has done this before β not a chatbot.
- Clinical growth: Senior mentor on day one. Path to grow into more complex full-arch and immediate-load cases over time.
- Lifestyle: Genuinely good weather, beach and outdoor culture, family-friendly suburbs. Reasonable hours β we are not building a burnout factory. Partner and family support: we are happy to talk to your spouse, help with school catchments, and connect you with team members who have done this move.
How the process works:
- Apply or book a 20-minute discovery call. We will reply within 3 business days.
- Clinical interview with the principal and a senior implant mentor. Bring a couple of cases to talk through.
- Virtual practice tour and team intros. Your partner is welcome on this call.
- Written offer with full package, visa and AHPRA support. Within a week of stage 4. From first contact to signed offer is typically 4β6 weeks. We will tell you where you stand at every stage.
How to apply:
Send a current CV and a short note (a paragraph is fine) telling us about your implant experience and what is prompting the move. Apply via the link on this listing or email. If you are not quite ready to apply but want to understand whether the move is realistic for you, book a no-pressure 20-minute discovery call β link in this listing.
