My Four Wheels is a 5-star rated driving school with 500 instructors teaching nationwide. Due to record learner demand, we are now recruiting new Trainee Driving Instructors across the UK. If you are looking for a career change with great earning potential, flexible working, and genuine job satisfaction, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. No previous experience is required - we provide full training and ongoing support.
Why become a driving instructor with My Four Wheels?
- Lesson rates typically average around £38 per hour
- Earn up to £39k per year working 32 hours/week
- Working 40 hours/week will earn an average of £50,000+
- Work the hours you want - weekdays, evenings, weekends, part-time or full-time
- Teach locally (typically within a 30-minute radius, covering 6–8 postcodes)
- Dual-control car options available via partner providers
- Start earning sooner – You can apply for a Trainee License after DVSA Part 2
- Training fees can be paid back in full after 1 year (ask for details)

You will train through our new Training Academy, designed for complete beginners. Training combines online learning, live classroom support and structured in-car coaching. We guide you through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 and provide lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you qualify with confidence.

- Hold a full UK driving licence for 3+ years
- Have no more than 5 penalty points
- Have no driving bans in the last 5 years
