My Four Wheels is a 5-star rated driving school with 500 instructors already on the road nationwide - and we're expanding across the UK. This opportunity is ideal for anyone considering a career change. You don't need previous instructing experience - just a professional attitude, good people skills and the willingness to learn. We'll train you from the start and guide you all the way to becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).
Earnings
Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. For example, working 32 hours per week can deliver earnings up to £39k per year, and those working 40hrs have the opportunity to reach £50,000+.
Flexibility
You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary. It's a career that fits around your life. Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel.
Training & Support
Earn While You Train. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification. Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining flexible online learning for theory and preparation, in-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability, live classroom sessions for extra guidance and confidence, lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed.
Dual-Control Vehicle Options
We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.
