This is a full-time, on-site IVA Advisor role based in Cheadle. The IVA Advisor will speak with individuals experiencing financial hardship, gather detailed information about their circumstances, and assess their eligibility for IVAs and other appropriate solutions. The role involves explaining complex debt options in clear, accessible language and ensuring clients understand the implications of each choice. The IVA Advisor will prepare and submit accurate documentation, liaise with internal teams and external partners, and follow relevant regulations and internal compliance standards. The position also includes maintaining up-to-date case records, following up with clients to track progress, and contributing to continuous improvements in advice processes and client experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong client-facing skills, including active listening, clear communication, and the ability to build trust with clients experiencing financial stress.
  • Experience in debt advice, financial services, or a related field, ideally with exposure to IVAs, debt management plans, or insolvency solutions.
  • Solid analytical and numeracy skills to review income, expenditure, and debt information and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, case management, and data entry.
