The Automatic Coffee Engineer (Coffetek Vitro Specialist) is responsible for installing, configuring, servicing, and optimizing Coffetek Vitro automatic coffee machines across customer sites. This role requires strong technical ability in mechanical, electrical, and software systems, along with expert knowledge of Vitro product lines. The engineer ensures reliable performance, consistent beverage quality, and excellent customer support for all Coffetek Vitro equipment.
Tools, uniform, and mobile phone/tablet provided. Full training on Coffetek Vitro machines and ongoing technical development. Competitive salary with overtime availability. Company pension scheme, paid holidays, and additional perks. Extended holiday allowance after 2 years service.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and set up Coffetek Vitro machines (e.g., configure recipes, software settings, payment modules, and user interface screens). Connect water systems, calibrate grinders, adjust milk systems, and set beverage parameters.
- Maintenance & Technical Support: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software faults specific to Vitro systems. Perform regular preventive maintenance, including brew-unit servicing, grinder calibration, cleaning cycles, valve replacements, and descaling. Maintain accurate service reports and parts usage logs.
- Optimization & Performance: Fine-tune beverage recipes, temperature settings, and grinder adjustments for optimal quality. Review usage data and error logs to maximize uptime and machine reliability.
- Training & Customer Support: Train clients and staff on machine operation, cleaning routines, software navigation, and first-level troubleshooting. Provide responsive on-site and remote technical support for Vitro machines. Assist customers with setup variations (fresh milk, instant products, canisters, cup sensors, etc.). Ensure all installations meet manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, electrical requirements, and hygiene regulations.
Experience servicing automatic or super-automatic coffee machines; technical background in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical engineering. Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with machine diagnostics and firmware menus. Understanding of coffee extraction, grinder calibration, and automated milk/soluble systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. Ability to lift and manoeuvre coffee machines and parts. Certified training on Coffetek or Azkoyen Group equipment. Background in vending, OCS (Office Coffee Service), or food-service equipment engineering. Knowledge of water filtration, hardness testing, and scale prevention.
Full-time, field-based, on-site service. Travel to multiple customer locations required.
