Care Assistant - TEMPORARY 9 MONTH CONTRACT – Dementia Experience Essential (Days) Hawthorn Court Care Home, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9H3

36 hours per week £12.60 per hour

Schedule Shifts: 07:30 AM – 19:30 PM 3 shifts per week Alternate weekends required

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Hawthorn Court on a 9‑month temporary contract. Hawthorn Court is a 22‑bed residential care home providing specialist dementia and elderly care. We are proud of our close‑knit, supportive team and our calm, welcoming environment. This role is suited to someone confident in supporting individuals living with dementia and experienced in delivering safe, person‑centred care. Due to the needs of the home, previous dementia experience is essential. Candidates with medication administration training will be strongly preferred.
