If you’re excited about breaking things before users do and turning feedback into perfect software, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll do
- Think like a user: design and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing for iOS and/or Android apps
- Catch edge cases, regression bugs, performance hiccups, and accessibility gaps before they reach our customers
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define quality metrics and acceptance criteria
- Write clear, maintainable bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and impact
- Triage and prioritize defects, track status, and verify fixes
- Contribute to test automation strategy and, where possible, build/maintain automated tests
- Participate in release readiness activities: release notes, risk assessments, and sprint reviews
- Help shape QA processes, promote quality culture, and share learnings with the team
What we’re looking for
- Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and/or Android (hands-on in a product/web/mobile app environment)
- Strong eye for detail and a user-centric mindset
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, JIRA/issue tracking, and test case management
- Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Optional but nice-to-have: basic automation scripting, API testing, performance testing, accessibility testing
- Bonus: knowledge of mobile devices, OS versions, and real-device testing vs. emulators/simulators
What you’ll bring
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for quality
- Curiosity, initiative, and a bias for action
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Why you’ll love working here
- Impact: your work directly influences user happiness and product success
- Growth: learning budget, mentorship, and opportunities to level up testing and automation
- Culture: inclusive, transparent, and focused on experimentation and iteration
- Perks: flexible hybrid/remote options, competitive compensation, health benefits, and wellness stipends
- Tech you’ll touch: modern mobile stacks, cloud services, and a culture that values experimentation
