The Opportunity: Working with a large Financial services provider within a brand new Identity team. The hiring manager has built the internal SOC and Incident response teams and is now turning focus to the IAM & PAM functions. Therefore, it’s an opportunity to be in at the start.
Being involved in designing IAM solutions rather than just operating them. The hiring manager wants to see engineers come in and shape the direction of the identity team. The Identity team are at the beginning of their automation journey, so these roles will help define and develop best in class automation tooling & processes.
Project Ownership: You will be given projects with the autonomy to own them and define what they look like. Positive challenge is encouraged. They want someone proactive to identify gaps in identity and PAM and make positive recommendations, influencing access governance, identity federation, and security frameworks.
The Role: As an IAM Engineer, your work goes beyond securing systems – it’s about creating seamless, user-centric solutions that balance accessibility with uncompromising security. You’ll design and maintain IAM frameworks that integrate effortlessly with diverse applications, shaping how people interact with technology. This role challenges you to think critically, from enforcing policies and resolving security issues to staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies. It’s about collaboration – working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, refine processes, and deliver impactful IAM training. Key Requirements:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions and system integrations.
- Develop from scratch the IAM policies, procedures, and access control activities.
- Experience using Automation tools within the Identity process.
- Participate in audits, compliance activities, and documentation of IAM processes.
- Knowledge of CyberArk or Delinea.
- Experience working in a Windows environment.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: £65,000 to 75,000
- Bonus: Up to 10% per annum
