With a strong brand presence in the UK, we are entering an exciting new phase of international growth. With personalisation at the heart of what we do, our business thrives on exceptional customer experiences, innovation, and premium quality. We're now looking for a hands-on SEO & CRO specialist to drive measurable growth through search visibility and conversion optimisation.


Role Overview

As our SEO & CRO Ecommerce Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our organic growth and conversion performance. You'll take full ownership of our search engine optimisation strategy and conversion rate optimisation programmes, working hands-on to deliver measurable improvements to traffic quality, search rankings, and revenue per visitor.

Operating across our Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform with an upcoming Shopify migration, you'll combine technical SEO expertise with data-driven CRO methodologies to maximise the commercial performance of our ecommerce channels.

This role demands someone who lives and breathes SEO and CRO best practices, can execute technical implementations, and has a proven track record of driving organic growth and conversion improvements in competitive ecommerce environments.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Leadership & Execution

  • Own the complete SEO strategy from technical audits to content optimisation and link building campaigns
  • Drive organic traffic growth through keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO implementations
  • Execute technical SEO improvements including site speed optimisation, schema markup, internal linking strategies, and mobile-first indexing
  • Manage SEO during platform migration from Magento to Shopify, ensuring zero ranking loss and improved performance
  • Lead international SEO expansion for EU and Middle East markets, including hreflang implementation and localised content strategies
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and other technical performance metrics that impact search rankings

CRO Strategy & Testing

  • Design and execute comprehensive CRO programmes using data-driven testing methodologies
  • Run continuous A/B and multivariate tests across key conversion points including product pages, checkout flow, and category navigation
  • Optimise conversion funnels by identifying friction points and implementing solutions to improve customer journey completion rates
  • Enhance product discovery through improved onsite search, filtering, and merchandising strategies
  • Implement personalisation strategies using tools like Nosto to increase relevance and conversion rates
  • Drive mobile conversion optimisation ensuring seamless experiences across all device types

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Monitor and report on key SEO metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and revenue attribution
  • Track and improve conversion metrics across all traffic sources, with particular focus on organic performance
  • Use advanced analytics to identify opportunities and measure the impact of SEO and CRO initiatives
  • Create comprehensive performance dashboards for stakeholder reporting and decision-making
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark performance

Technical Platform Management

  • Manage day-to-day platform optimisation ensuring sites are search engine friendly and conversion optimised
  • Oversee integration and optimisation of key tools including SEOMonitor, Klaviyo, Nosto, WisePops, and Symplify
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement technical SEO and CRO recommendations
  • Ensure optimal site performance including page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and user experience metrics


What We're Looking For

Essential SEO & CRO Experience

  • 3+ years hands-on SEO experience with proven track record of driving organic growth in competitive ecommerce environments
  • 2+ years CRO experience with demonstrated ability to improve conversion rates through testing and optimisation
  • Technical SEO expertise including JavaScript SEO, site migrations, and Core Web Vitals optimisation
  • Conversion testing experience using platforms like Google Optimize, VWO, or similar A/B testing tools
  • Strong analytics skills with advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog

Platform & Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of Magento/Adobe Commerce SEO including URL structure, layered navigation, and technical optimisation
  • Shopify SEO and CRO experience to support platform migration and ongoing optimisation
  • HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript knowledge for implementing technical changes and troubleshooting
  • Experience with CDNs, caching, and performance optimisation tools
  • Familiarity with schema markup and structured data implementation

Commercial & Analytical Mindset

  • ROI-focused approach with ability to tie SEO and CRO activities directly to revenue impact
  • Data-driven decision making using statistical significance and proper testing methodologies
  • International ecommerce experience particularly in EU markets, understanding of international SEO complexities
  • Competitive analysis skills to identify opportunities and benchmark against industry leaders
  • Project management abilities to coordinate complex SEO migrations and CRO programmes

  • Proficiency with SEO tools: SEOMonitor, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs
