ABOUT YOU
Are you passionate about graphic design and digital creativity? Do you obsess over typography, layout and craft, but also understand what makes content convert? Does the idea of creating high-performing, thumb-stopping campaigns across paid, social, email and onsite excite you?
If so, working as a Senior Digital Designer at My 1st Years could be for you! As part of our wider creative team, you’ll play a key role in shaping digital-first design across the business, raising creative standards and bringing new ideas to life at speed. You’ll work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, growing DTC environment - producing beautifully cohesive campaigns across all customer touchpoints, while helping us evolve our creative output through best-in-class processes and emerging tools (including AI).
You’ll also help keep our creative engine running efficiently by managing a small offshore design team, ensuring high-volume work is delivered at speed without compromising quality.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and deliver digital & mobile-first campaigns across paid, social, email and onsite.
- Create performance-led paid assets (Meta, TikTok, Google etc.) with a testing mindset (variants, hooks, formats).
- Work across static and video content (short-form social, ads, motion-led assets, email templates).
- Focus on User Experience (UX) to ensure designs are intuitive, accessible, and effective for users across all devices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Web, Product and Studio teams to bring briefs to life quickly and brilliantly.
- Own creative workflows and processes such as templates, toolkits, file structures and smooth handovers.
- Manage and quality-check output from a small offshore design team, keeping work on-brand and on-time.
- Stay ahead of trends and actively explore AI tools and innovations to improve speed, efficiency and creative output.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong experience in digital-first design within DTC eCommerce.
- Confident designing for paid marketing/performance creative.
- Strong Adobe CC skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Great eye for detail, layout, typography and brand consistency.
- Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple briefs and deadlines.
- Experience managing or briefing others (offshore support a plus).
- Up to date with creative trends, formats and AI-powered design workflows.
- Strong awareness of evolving social and paid formats, and what makes content perform on each platform.
- Collaborative, commercially aware, and proud of producing high-quality work.
