What you will do

Location: Newcastle

Work Pattern: Part Time, 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday 10:00-15:00, Sunday 08:00-13:00, Saturday plus 1 rotating day off.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish stock within the automated picking system.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately across manual picking, bulk, fridge, and secure areas.
  • Route completed orders to the correct transport and distribution channels.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity when handling products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements at all times.
  • Support the efficient flow of products through the warehouse operation.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs. Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action. Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities. Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
