Summary of Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Inventory Team Leader to support the effective control and management of inventory operations within our Service Centre. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock control processes, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. You will play a key role in driving inventory accuracy, supporting business performance, and maintaining excellent service standards throughout the distribution operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee stock reconciliation activities to ensure alignment between physical and system inventory.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain stock variances within agreed targets.
- Manage inventory reports, audits, stock adjustments, and discrepancy investigations.
- Coordinate perpetual inventory processes, including slot checks and item counts.
- Ensure new and discontinued product lines are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Support stock management activities, including overstock reviews, recalls, and out-of-stock investigations.
- Maintain effective communication with Service Centre management, Central Replenishment, supply partners, and support teams.
- Assist with the training, development, and performance support of inventory team members.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
