What you will do
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete scheduled pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Complete a high volume of deliveries, typically 50 or more drops per day.
- Load and unload delivery totes while ensuring product integrity and security.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Accurately record delivery information and complete required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delivery progress and any issues.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
- Follow all company procedures, road traffic regulations and health and safety requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 live penalty points.
- Previous experience in a multi drop driving or delivery role.
- Good knowledge of local road networks and delivery routes.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Ability to carry out physically demanding duties, including lifting delivery totes.
