We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Despatch Operative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will support the efficient despatch of customer orders by palletising, wrapping, and preparing goods for delivery. You will play an important part in ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service within a healthcare distribution environment.
Responsibilities- Palletise customer orders accurately and efficiently for despatch.
- Wrap and secure pallets to ensure safe transportation.
- Prepare shipment areas and packaging materials for outbound activity.
- Update warehouse transactions and shipment documentation accurately.
- Monitor and handle temperature-sensitive products in line with required procedures.
- Identify and report damaged, non-conforming, or on-hold stock.
- Coordinate the movement of materials using approved warehouse equipment.
- Escalate inventory, stock, or despatch issues to the appropriate team members.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions consistently.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
