What You Will Do

Location: Swansea

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 18:00-22:00 and Sunday 08:00-12:00 (24hrs per week)

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Summary of Role

The Shift Porter is responsible for accurately sorting and distributing orders into the correct van routes and areas, helping to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient movement of goods within the transport operation.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transfer loads to the despatch bay.
  • Sort and distribute orders accurately into the correct van routes and areas.
  • Ensure correct distribution and storage of trays and bins.
  • Follow checking off procedures at all times.
  • Maintain standards in line with Health and Safety policies.
  • Follow damage awareness procedures and report issues appropriately.
  • Work productively while maintaining a focus on security.
  • Maintain a good standard of housekeeping within the work area.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

  • High visual accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic written communication skills.
