Joignez-vous à nous et postulez dès aujourd’hui!# **Ce que vous ferez**# **Job Title:** Multi Drop Van Driver**Location:** Preston / Stockport / Manchester**Hours per week**: Minimum 48 hours – Please note this is a 6 day working week, working Monday-Friday (Full Days) + Saturday Morning**Salary:** £35,642.88Job Purpose:To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines.## Key Accountabilities· To maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.· To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.· To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.· To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle.· To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work.· To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.· To check all orders shown on the dropsheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.· To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management.· Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for HazChems.· To maintain a smart appearance at all times.· To help maintain good customer relations.· To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management.· Meet all Health & Safety requirements.Competencies· Building Customer Loyalty – *Effectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.*· Communication – *Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.*· Contributing to Team Success – *Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.*· Initiating Action – *Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive.*· Safety Awareness – *Being aware of conditions that effect employee safety.*# Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:**Essential*** A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven* For insurance purposes, all drivers must be over 21 years of age* Whilst we do not ask for a clean license, we will assess the risk of employing applicants who have points on their license and this may affect our decision to shortlist* Existing employees must update fleet services accordingly with any changes to their license status e.g. points on their license, driving bans etc* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent Customer care* Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy**Desirable*** Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable* Route planning experience**MANUAL HANDLING****It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.****Whilst Alliance Healthcare is committed to developing positive policies to promote equal opportunities in employment, we have a duty of care to ensure we do not instigate or worsen any conditions that would prevent the employee from carrying out manual handling duties.****On that basis, for this role we cannot make “reasonable adjustments” for any applicant who is unable to carry out such duties.
