This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business. Our 3PL division provides specialised logistics services to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, managing complex supply chains that demand the highest levels of compliance, precision, and innovation. We are accelerating our digital transformation agenda, embedding AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making across every facet of our 3PL operations.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Senior Analyst to join our 3PL business and act as a catalyst for change. This is not a traditional BA role — you will be at the intersection of logistics operations, technology, and AI-driven innovation, focusing on order management, finance operations, customer services, centred around an ERP. You will identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), predictive analytics, and other digital accelerants to transform how we deliver 3PL services to our clients. You will translate complex business needs into actionable solutions, support delivery of the business case, and drive measurable outcomes across the operation. This role is available on a hybrid basis from either our London or Woking office location.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements using a range of techniques and AI capabilities.
- Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and data models suitable for Agile delivery teams.
- Perform gap analysis and root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Define KPIs, success metrics, and benefits realisation frameworks for all initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Act as the primary liaison for 3PL operations teams’ Business Process Owners for transformation initiatives.
- Present findings, business cases, and solution options to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Support change management activities — training, communications, and adoption tracking, to ensure sustainable implementation.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, sprint reviews, and steering committee meetings.
- Data & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau) that provide actionable insights to operations and leadership.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements for AI/ML model development.
- Champion a data-driven culture across the 3PL business.
- AI & Digital Acceleration
- Identify, evaluate, and champion AI/ML and automation opportunities across the programme of work.
- Partner with internal teams to define requirements, design AI-augmented workflows, and oversee proof-of-concept (PoC) delivery.
- Stay current with emerging technologies (LLMs, generative AI, computer vision, digital twins, process mining) and assess their applicability to the programmes of work.
- Drive adoption of low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate) to empower operational teams with self-service tooling.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of digital innovation initiatives, including from vendors and other third-party suppliers, prioritised by business impact and feasibility.
- Domain Expertise
- Extensive experience being part of a team developing and implementing innovative technology and operating models across Warehouse and Transport operations.
- Specific technology experience with Manhattan Active WMS and Microsoft Dynamics WMS.
- Operational experience within a logistics environment, preferably 3PL environment.
- Experience within a regulated environment, preferably pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives in an operational environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Qualifications & Competencies
