What you will do

Join Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, supporting one of Europe's leading pharmaceutical wholesale distribution networks.

  • Location: LS11 0LR
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Inbound Operative to join our Goods In team. You will play a vital role in ensuring all incoming stock is received accurately, checked thoroughly, and moved safely to the correct warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a VNA Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, check and process incoming stock deliveries.
  • Verify product descriptions, pack sizes, quantities, expiry dates and product condition.
  • Record stock information accurately and complete all relevant paperwork.
  • Prioritise critical and out-of-stock items on receipt.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across warehouse and loading bay areas.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety and security procedures.
  • Support the wider warehouse operation as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous Forklift Truck experience.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong awareness of customer service and quality standards.

Desirable:

  • Previous warehouse experience.

Important Information

This role involves regular manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying and bending, which are essential requirements of the position.
