HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights in Exeter

**Job Title:** HGV Class 1 Driver **(nights)****Location:** Exeter **Work Pattern:** Monday to Saturday, 48hrs a week **Summary of Role**We are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to support Cencora's wholesale distribution services across Europe, operating through the Alliance Healthcare business. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, safe and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of service, compliance and professionalism. **Responsibilities*** Deliver products and invoices accurately and efficiently to customers in line with company standards* Carry out daily vehicle checks including lights, brakes and fluid levels to ensure roadworthiness* Maintain safe driving standards while complying with all traffic laws and regulations* Report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly* Follow all tachograph regulations and ensure required rest periods are taken* Ensure all deliveries on dropsheets are completed and report discrepancies before leaving site* Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security and ensure sufficient fuel for daily operations* Support customer service excellence and maintain strong communication with transport teams.**Skills and Knowledge*** Full, valid driving licence appropriate for Class 1 vehicles* Strong customer service and communication skills* Good numeracy and literacy skills* Ability to work effectively as part of a team* Proactive and able to take initiative* High level of safety awareness**Desirable*** Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience* Route planning knowledge**Benefits*** Contributory pension scheme* Perks at Work discounts on leading brands* Employee Assistance Programme* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service length**Ce qu’Cencora offre** Nous offrons une rémunération globale concurrentielle.
