What you will do:
This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Job details:
- To accurately sort & distribute orders received into transport into correct van routes and areas on the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately checking orders/totes from drop sheets paying special attention to route, according to procedures.
- All missing orders/totes must be recorded and notified to a Line Manager.
- Ensure orders/totes are allocated to pallet/route cage.
- Prioritise orders/totes by route departure time.
- Loading vehicles as per instructions, ensuring that all bins, boxes, bags are loaded in the vehicle in a safe manner.
- Ensuring all loads are secure, following the correct load security processes.
- Ensuring that all pallets and cages are stored correctly and bins, boxes, bags are stacked in a safe manner.
- Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
- Any other tasks required by management.
- Ensuring empty totes are sorted correctly.
- Safe transfer of orders to loading bays.
- Repick of missing orders where relevant.
Requirements:
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Good visual accuracy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Committed to working in a hazard-free, world-class health and safety environment.
- Any previous experience working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable and any experience driving a Counterbalance forklift truck.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with our Health and Safety standards.
