What you will do
Location: Coatbridge Service Centre
Work Pattern: Mon-Fri: 10:00-15:00, Sunday: 09:00-14:00
This role is in support of Cencora’s wholesale distribution services in Europe, operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Summary of Role
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders within the outbound warehouse environment. The role involves working across multiple warehouse areas, including automated picking systems, medical bulk, fridge and secure areas, ensuring all activity is completed in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and company performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders in line with pick documentation.
- Ensure quantities picked are correct and appropriate packaging is used to prevent damage.
- Immediately report any damages, pick face errors or unusual quantities to the Line Team Leader.
- Respond promptly to any errors identified during the picking process.
- Pick hospital and special check orders and pass them to the appropriate checker to confirm accuracy.
- Pick medical bulk, fridge and secure area orders in line with specific procedures, following full training.
- Report any suspected or actual issues with orders or transport activities to the Line Team Leader.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring warehouse areas remain clean, tidy and free from rubbish.
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements at all times.
- Work in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, completing all required training and annual refreshers.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
