Senior SHEQ Advisor
Join MWH Treatment as a Senior SHEQ Advisor to strengthen our SHEQ team with an ESD Framework. You will advise the SHEQ Manager and support SHEQ across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding our approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best‑in‑class performance at a Senior Level.
- Maintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.
- Facilitating the development and implementation of policies, procedures, management systems and risk controls that reduce risk and promote a positive SHEQ culture at MWH.
- Organising audits and supporting the delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.
- Conducting accident/incident investigations or supporting investigations led by the Head of SHEQ.
- Integrating within the wider project teams to understand day‑to‑day challenges.
- Liaising with the Central SHEQ team.
- Working with our clients to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.
- Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.
- Highlighting opportunities for sustainable solutions.
- Trending and analysing key performance data.
- Maintaining our externally certified management systems.
About You
- Ability to collect, analyse and evaluate large volumes of data whilst maintaining data integrity.
- Ability to identify trends in data and clearly articulate the issue or findings.
- Proven experience working as part of a SHEQ team.
- Ability to interpret legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative.
- Good communicator comfortable engaging at all levels within the organisation as you will be advising the team at a senior level.
- Confidence to make decisions while recognising when to escale issues or concerns.
- Good Microsoft Office skills especially Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexible approach to work in terms of both time and location.
