As MWH Treatment’s service to its client, Thames Water, continues to flourish into AMP8, we are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Senior Process Engineer. Based in the Thames Water region, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead (Process), which will catalyse your development.
Our challenging programme of work, across a variety of water and wastewater schemes, is expected to be in the region of £400M.

As Senior Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include :
- Producing high-quality standard process design documents and drawings, such as process calculations, P&IDs, PFDs, Control Philosophy, considering health & safety requirements, specifications, and standards related to the contract;
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and client standards for each project;
- Conducting and coordinating studies related to Process Safety, a critical element of our design and client requirements;
- Collaborating with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, EICA, environmental) to produce complete project designs;
- Assisting other disciplines in their design production and technical specifications related to process and Process Safety, fostering trust and synergy within the team;
- Providing active support to delivery, commissioning, and management teams on technical issues with effective solutions;
- Providing feedback to your Regional Discipline Lead and the Design Manager on project progress and issues;
- Designing solutions considering total outturn costs, including design time, materials, erection, and impacts on other disciplines;
- Assisting the design manager with deliverables at various design stages;
- Mentoring graduates and supporting their development;
- Maintaining files and records throughout the contract duration;
- Helping instil a customer-focused culture, recognizing that satisfying the customer is key to achieving objectives;
- Ensuring all designs fully consider health and safety requirements.
