Reporting to the Senior Project Manager - Business Systems, you will play a key role in helping the business work smarter through process improvement, business systems change, automation and AI-driven solutions. You will lead complex analysis activities across multiple business functions, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, support solution delivery and ensure measurable business benefits are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering and process mapping activities for complex business and systems initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, recommendations, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead functional and cross-functional workstreams, providing structure, direction and clarity across competing priorities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Projects, Engineering, Operations, HR and Payroll.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through systems, automation, AI and innovative ways of working.
- Work closely with IT, Data teams, suppliers and delivery partners to assess solution impacts and support implementation activities.
- Coordinate testing, business readiness, stakeholder engagement and user adoption activities.
- Support governance, risk management, benefits tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and mentor Assistant Business Systems Analysts, helping to develop capability across the Business Systems team.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Systems professional who is passionate about business improvement, technology, stakeholder engagement and helping teams work smarter.
Essential
- Typically 5+ years' experience in Business Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, or a comparable business change role.
- Strong experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
- Experience leading complex workstreams and initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong process mapping, problem-solving and analytical capability.
- Experience assessing business, system, data and integration impacts.
- Experience supporting business change, testing, user adoption and benefits realisation.
- Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting the development of other analysts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable
- Experience with ERP or enterprise business systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, AI or automation technologies.
- Knowledge of Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Projects, Operations, Engineering, HR or Payroll processes.
- Business Analysis, Change Management or similar professional qualification.
- Experience within engineering, utilities, infrastructure or construction environments.

Flexibility
The role is based in Hattersley with hybrid working available. Occasional travel to MWH Treatment offices, sites and partner locations will be required to support business engagement, project activities and stakeholder collaboration.
