We are looking to strengthen our SHEQ team with a Quality Advisor based in our Severn Trent Region.

You will report directly to the Regional Head of SHEQ, and your role will provide on-site support to all of our construction projects within the Severn Trent Water region.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintain and execute the internal quality audit programme, in conjunction with the Regional Quality Lead.
  2. Provide support to ensure all quality project documentation is completed and retained in line with company procedures, legal, and Client requirements.
  3. Monitor and support onsite quality installation standards in line with MWH and Client requirements.
  4. Assist in managing the Integrated Management System to implement a Lean approach, including maintaining and developing the system, covering all aspects of the business such as processes, forms, guidance, and documentation.
  5. Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions.
  6. Support the SHEQ team in producing communications, training, and delivering classroom training on quality topics.
  7. Promote internal quality systems.
  8. Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business, with assistance from the SHEQ team where required, embedding the understanding of IMS, its benefits, and the company\’s requirements.
  9. Promote a positive quality culture and facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing throughout the business.
  10. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, and groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
  11. Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  12. Undertake other duties, training, or hours of work as reasonably required, consistent with the responsibility level of this role.
  13. Present a professional and positive image of the department, MWH Treatment, and the Client in all internal and external contacts, maintaining mutually constructive, positive, and beneficial relationships.
  14. Take all reasonable steps to ensure confidentiality.
