We are looking to strengthen our Delivery team with a Project Manager based in Testwood with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager, and your role will be to manage the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of contracts to ensure they are completed efficiently, to the specification, within the required timeframe, and within the tender estimate, while ensuring health and safety of all involved and maintaining good customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to the direct and subcontracted workforce.
  • Ensure that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process, from tender handover to final completion.
  • Maintain good client relationships at all levels.
  • Maintain the company’s reputation by fostering good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure that trained personnel are available for the project and are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Plan projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and monitor and control project delivery.
  • Prepare, approve, and ensure the availability of detailed construction plans and method statements prior to activities.
  • Ensure all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available at contract completion.
  • Report site non-conformities and identify approximate costs.
  • Manage all commercial aspects of the project proactively, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
  • Possess detailed knowledge and experience of project management practices from conception to end-user acceptance.
  • Participate in external networking, conferences, associations, or groups for continuous professional development.
  • Undertake other duties, training, or hours as reasonably required, consistent with the role\’s responsibilities.
  • Present a professional and positive image in all internal and external contacts, maintaining constructive relationships.
  • Understand and implement quality, safety, and environmental policies and targets.
  • Aim to satisfy customer requirements to enhance their perception and satisfaction.
  • Maintain practical knowledge of all technical disciplines related to water and wastewater design and build projects.
