We are looking to strengthen our leadership team with a Delivery Director based in the Anglian Water region with hybrid working available. Join Anglian Water’s @one Alliance as Delivery Director and drive the delivery of a circa £2.3bn capital investment programme that will shape the future of the East of England. Here, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading one of the most progressive and award-winning water sector delivery organisations. Responsible for overseeing a significant portfolio of capital investment projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver Capital Excellence: Lead the design, build, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring sustainability, affordability, and efficiency. Manage profit and loss for a portfolio valued between £600-£800M for AMP8.
- Inspire and Lead Teams: Build and lead high-performing, integrated delivery teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate for Impact: Develop and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including regulators (EA, Defra), local authorities, councils, and delivery partners.
- Drive Innovation and Sustainability: Lead the adoption of PAS 2080 principles of ‘Avoid – Switch – Improve’ to reduce carbon and increase natural capital. Deliver innovative, value-driven solutions through rigorous data analysis and root cause investigations.
- Champion Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Establish and maintain a culture of care, safety, and learning across all projects and teams.
