Social network you want to login/join with: We are looking to strengthen our People & HR team with a HR Business Partner based at Derby covering 2-3 frameworks including Seven Trent and Anglian Water. Hybrid working is available. You will report directly to the HR Manager and will be working within complex joint venture environments. We are looking for an individual who encourages others to act boldly, think differently, and identify opportunities to make an impact. This role suits someone who prefers being out and about rather than being head office based. You will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of the people plan, focusing on talent development, learning and development, resource planning, engagement, communications, and organizational effectiveness in conjunction with the wider HR team based centrally. Key responsibilities will include: Work closely with Stakeholders and Line Managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent, and develop/support approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives. Drive the people agenda in line with the business and HR strategy, including talent management and organizational development. Collaborate with central teams to design and implement initiatives related to talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing. Partner with managers to take ownership of implementing the people plan. Coach Managers and individuals. Maintain positive relationships with central HR functions. Support the HR service team in managing employee relations issues when required. Participate in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment. Lead HR project work as identified. Work with the L&D team to coordinate training and development for managers and their teams, aligned with performance management tools. Ensure key deliverables are met, monitored, and reported in collaboration with the L&D team. Meet regularly with the HR Director to ensure consistency and alignment of all HR processes and strategies both globally and locally.
