We’re excited to expand our Operations division to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake, based in Testwood in CMDP (Southern Water) Framework working amongst our Project specialists. What will you be doing? During this comprehensive apprenticeship, you'll rotate through various placements in key project delivery areas, with support from our industry experts, including:

  • Project Management: Learn to oversee and drive projects from start to finish.
  • Project Controls: Gain insights into managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Quality: Be involved with checking, measuring, and evaluating the quality of your project work against the quality criteria and standards, and taking corrective actions if needed.
  • Commercial: Ensure that all commercial aspects of the projects under their remit are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.
  • Construction: Get hands-on experience in the execution and operational phases of projects.

What will I need to be considered?

  • GCSEs for English, Mathematics and Sciences at grade 4 or above.
  • A Levels in Maths and/or Related Subject.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport).
  • A driving licence would be preferred.
  • Flexibility - Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
  • Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal).
  • Self-motivated – attitude is key, it’s your career!
  • A team player.
