We are
looking to strengthen our Engineering team in the @one Alliance with a SuDS Design Engineer based at Peterborough with hybrid working available (2–3 days on site/with stakeholders).
As a SuDS Solutions Engineer , you\’ll play a vital role in developing and delivering innovative SuDS and NbS schemes – from the early optioneering phase through to construction. You will design swales alongside highways, reimagine schoolyards with rain gardens, and enhance public spaces for biodiversity.
Responsibilities include:
- Scoping, assessing, and delivering SuDS opportunities in urban, rural, and public realm settings
- Working closely with stakeholders – from local authorities to community groups – to co-create solutions
- Using GIS, spatial data, and topographic insights to inform sustainable design
- Supporting projects from feasibility through to construction, including site visits and design input
- Collaborating across the alliance – design, CAD, enabling, construction, ecology & more
- Contributing to design excellence, health & safety, and environmental best practices
- Championing innovation and smarter ways of working in stormwater management
