We are looking to strengthen our Digital Delivery team with a Regional Digital Delivery Lead based at Preston, with hybrid working available.
You will report directly to the Head of Delivery, and your role will:
Drive and lead the digital agenda in the region, supporting project teams in understanding and adopting digital initiatives. Championing the MWHT core digital applications across Engineering and Operational functions.
Key responsibilities:

Creating cohesion between engineering and operational practices to maximize data use from project initiation to handover.

Maintaining and influencing change according to the MWHT Way across the regional framework, JV, or Alliances, driving the digital agenda and change management.

Implementing digital delivery as a strategic priority, including tools like surveying, scanning, 3D modeling, visualization, digital rehearsal, field management, asset management, and handover.

Supporting the management of the digital delivery toolbox maturity matrix to meet commitments at framework and business levels.

Supporting development, implementation, and deployment of digital initiatives, including communication, resource development, webinars, and regional support.

Sponsoring and owning allocated change management and digital initiatives to achieve business excellence.

Capturing regional pain points across disciplines and providing feedback to central MWHT for solutions.

Providing clarity to staff on the adoption of the right tools at the right time.

Supporting and maintaining good relationships with supply chain, clients, and functional teams to streamline data exchange and minimize rework.

Communicating across the region to ensure onboarding into digital ways of working and dissemination of new procedures.

Building a regional community among leads for commissioning, engineering, SHEQ to ensure aligned objectives.

Supporting regional rehearsal leads and information managers to execute their duties effectively.

Ensuring every project has an auditable digital strategy throughout its lifecycle, with compliance reports aligned with client stage gate processes.

Establishing and maintaining reports and metrics to monitor digital success at project and regional levels.

Building and maintaining client relationships to support their digital transformation journey and regional advancements.
Competencies – Technical:
- Successful change management and digital transformation deployment.
- Appreciation of ISO 19650 standards and the Information Protocol.
- Knowledge of engineering design, delivery, and construction, preferably in Water or Utilities sectors.
Competencies – Behavioural:
- Ability to engage with staff at all levels, support digital initiatives, and drive adoption.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn across technical and digital disciplines.
Experience:
- Experience as a Change Manager for frameworks or large projects.
- Experience managing digital initiatives in surveying, scanning, 3D modeling, visualization, field and asset management, and handover.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate engineering or operational qualification (desirable).
- Membership of a professional institution (desirable).
- Individual BIM certification (ISO19650 or BS1192) with recognized body (advantage).
