We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Principal / Lead Process Engineer based at our Anglian Water Region with hybrid working available.
You will report directly to the Head of Engineering and provide engineering technical direction to discipline engineers in your area, focusing on water or water recycling non-infrastructure projects. Your role includes providing design support for various non-infrastructure schemes, ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and comply with current legislation and standards.
As our new Process Engineer in the Place Based Thinking team, you will collaborate with the project design team to develop appropriate process solutions, adopting principles of optimized plant performance, standard designs, and following @one engineering design standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake process design of wastewater solutions and sewerage systems aligning with Anglian Waterβs goals for customer service, environmental impact, and efficiency. Deliverables include:
- Technical schedules and data sheets
- Engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, etc.)
- Specifications for engineering subcontracts
- Technical bid analysis in collaboration with supply chain partners
To succeed, you should have a degree in wastewater process science or engineering and experience in process engineering for large-scale wastewater projects. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent IT skills to effectively marry technical expertise with people skills, delivering optimal process engineering solutions consistently.
