The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are looking to strengthen our L&D team with an L&D Advisor based at Hattersley, with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the L&D Manager, and your role will include coordinating the full cycle of Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes. As the L&D Advisor, you will help coordinate and implement key L&D initiatives, including our Early Careers Programmes, and work on projects as required alongside the day-to-day running of the L&D function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes, including developing relationships with apprentices, graduates, programme leads, and mentors, and continually improving our offerings.
- Work on special projects as defined by the L&D Manager.
- Manage the further education scheme, providing guidance to the business and monitoring progress.
- Work with other members of the L&D team to plan, organise, and record all training against the annual training plan.
- Assist with the review and development of internal L&D procedures, guidance, forms, and admin systems, and assist in communicating these.
- Identify effective ways to communicate and promote L&D offerings.
- Provide information, updates, and reports to others in the HR team and the business.
- Help maintain the L&D intranet pages, uploading/updating information and documents as required.
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A good understanding of the purpose of a Learning and Development function.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation/delivery skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines.
- Willingness to develop further.
Desirable:
- Working towards CIPD qualification.
- Experience of working on graduate and apprenticeship schemes.
