The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
We are looking to appoint a Head of Strategy & PMO for our ESD, Scottish Water region. You will report directly to the Business Director and your role will drive the current and future business success of ESD both through strong leadership of functional reports and development/delivery of business tactical and strategic plans. The role will also drive successful delivery of the capital program by using data to support Operations managers to deliver project excellence.
Key responsibilities will include:
Business strategy
- Development and execution of the SR21 ‘transition’ plan: This activity will setup and drive EOL success for the SR21 capital framework. This includes monitoring and optimising resourcing (projects and overheads) which will enable us to hit our EOL goals.
- Strong interface with client senior leaders to ensure that our plans are linked in with SW’s
- Owner of Business plan & strategy development: significant organisation wide collaboration activity
- Holding SLT to account for actions and initiatives:
- High level of exposure to Strategic board and client:
- Develop and deliver board reports
Drive Successful Project Management across the Capital Portfolio
- Ability to challenge and push operations managers to maintain & better programme and cost performance
- Provide insights and share learnings across projects (and between ESD and Client) and with the SLT to improve performance
- Support project teams to manage performance against KPI’s
- Streamline governance processes to shorten time to milestones
