About the role

We’re excited to expand our Operations division with Graduate Quantity Surveyors to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake, based in Essex & Sussex in the Northumbrian Framework working amongst our Surveyor specialists.

What will you be doing?

  • Administrating our contracts and issuing the correct contractual notices
  • Producing integrated cost forecasts for projects
  • Managing commercial issues related to withheld, disputed or disallowed costs
  • Assisting with resolution of disputes and learning negotiation strategies
  • Assisting with subcontract preparation following procurement
  • Assessing interim and final accounts
  • Pricing additional and varied works

What will I need to be considered?

  • Have achieved or on track to achieve your degree in Quantity Surveying (we will consider other RICS accredited degrees)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport; a full UK driving licence would be preferred)
  • Flexibility – Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
  • Great communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Self‑motivated – attitude is key, it’s your career!
  • A team player
