The predicted salary is between 35000 - 41000 £ per year.

Job Purpose: To make sure the seating solutions are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.

Main Tasks to be completed: Responsible for ensuring works orders are completed and delivered on time to specifications.

The role holder will also be tasked with ensuring the teams KPIs and objectives are being met.

Support the development of direct reports, by acting as a mentor and supporting continuous improvement activities.

To ensure a quality culture throughout the manufacturing processes by actively facilitating collaboration between departments and continuous improvement.

Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising quality, product safety or integrity.

Proactively suggesting new methods and techniques to improve efficiency.

Ensure those working in the plant operational areas follow the Company / industry standard health and safety guidelines.

Education / Skills / Qualification / Experience requirements

  • Solid experience in Operations or Production management in a Manufacturing environment; Experience with robot welding machines Experience with people management including coaching / mentoring, appraisal, training and capability/disciplinary procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and energise individuals and teams, encouraging teamwork and maximising productivity.
  • Capable of working under-pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and AX
  • Working Hours Monday – Friday (20.00pm – 04.00am)
  • Location – Round Spinney, Northampton
  • Pension – 4% employee contribution
  • Annual Leave – 20 plus bank holidays
