Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare lending and security documentation accurately and on time, ahead of any advance.
  • Maintain legal documentation in line with current legislation and bank standards.
  • Issue documentation for security releases, transfers, lease consents, and guarantee renewals in accordance with procedures and authority limits.
  • Handle back-office tasks for pre- and post-drawdown processes, including mortgage statements, rate change notifications, and credit searches.
  • Support bank projects as required.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge of lending, loan security, bespoke documentation, regulated mortgages, and the Consumer Credit Act.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end lending processes, regulatory compliance, and associated risk.
  • Understanding of various retail banking products.
  • CeMap qualification is an advantage.
