About the company
Our client specialises in providing Capital Market Intelligence and Investor Relations services to Issuers (major global listed companies) and their Advisors. The company was set up over 10 years ago by market leaders in the industry combining decades of experience. They are looking for a self-motivated, sales driven candidate to join a developing team and grow with the business, taking on the challenges and responsibility that that entails.
Your Role And Responsibilities
The Business Development Representative will receive sales coaching and instruction while working in a hands-on environment that will expand your skills. You will have the chance to learn and work with our Sales Directors. You’ll spend time with an energetic and lively group of colleagues while learning from a management team deeply vested in helping you succeed.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Sales Directors to identify key areas of opportunities in the market in your defined territories.
- Supporting the Sales Directors with research, qualifying new leads, prospecting for events, and post lead follow ups.
- Prospect new business potential clients through cold calls, direct emailing and social channels.
- Answer prospect questions and send additional information by email.
- Schedule meetings for Sales Directors and join them for the meetings (when possible) where they will present.
- Supports Sales Directors on an ongoing basis in order to help meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
- Create and manage prospect lists for each region.
- Maintain accurate records of your activity in Salesforce.
- Develop a deep understanding of our Services/Solutions and keep informed with product updates and initiatives.
- Proactively take on new initiatives, exhibit a curiosity for learning, and share ideas on improving our approach.
- Aim to excel in the role so you can be promoted to the next level sales position within the company.
