An established international bank is looking to appoint an experienced Credit Documentation.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for reviewing and assessing lending and security documentation following credit approval, ensuring facilities are appropriately documented, legally enforceable and compliant with approved credit conditions before drawdown.
The role will suit someone with a strong banking and finance legal/documentation background, particularly experience with LMA documentation, bilateral and syndicated lending, security documents and conditions precedent.
Key Responsibilities Review and draft lending documentation including LMA Facility Agreements, Guarantees, Debentures, Legal Charges, Intercreditor Agreements and Conditions Precedent documentation.
Ensure proposed lending documentation accurately reflects approved credit terms and the bank's internal policies.
Review legal Conditions Precedent including Board Resolutions, Director Certificates, constitutional documents and legal opinions.
Assess whether borrowers have the appropriate capacity and authority to enter into transactions prior to drawdown.
