We are working with a leading international bank that is looking to hire an Associate Director into its Corporate Sales business in London. The role will focus on covering large corporate clients, with a primary focus on foreign exchange products, FX execution and hedging solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with trading, structuring, relationship management and wider markets teams to deliver appropriate solutions across the corporate client base.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cover a portfolio of large corporate clients across FX products
  • Provide day-to-day sales coverage across FX spot, forwards, swaps and options
  • Originate and execute FX trade ideas and hedging solutions
  • Work closely with trading, structuring and internal product partners to deliver appropriate client solutions
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue and product penetration across allocated client portfolios
  • Support flow and transactional FX business, including appropriate use of electronic platforms and self-service capabilities
  • Provide market colour, product insight and relevant content to clients
  • Maintain appropriate records of client orders, execution and post-trade activity
  • Ensure all activity is conducted in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements and conduct standards

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate FX sales
  • Experience gained within a bank is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FX products, including spot, forwards, swaps and options
  • Experience covering large corporate, multinational or strategic corporate clients
  • Good understanding of corporate hedging, flow execution and transactional FX business
  • Comfortable working with trading, structuring, relationship management and wider markets teams
  • Strong market awareness, commercial judgement and communication skills
  • Familiarity with electronic FX platforms / e-capability would be useful
  • Exposure to interest rate derivatives would be helpful, but this is primarily an FX-focused corporate sales role
